Urban Living Tour
Behind closed doors
To really understand the culture of a city, you need to meet locals and find out how they actually live. This living culture tour is unique because you’ll actually be visiting homes spread right across the city of three very different, interesting Berliners that make up the city’s diverse social fabric. Our hosts will not only invite you inside to showcase their distinctive homes and décor, they will also give you a unique perspective on the city that they love. Find out what it is about Berlin that draws people from all over Germany and the world to this thriving creative metropolis.
You will visit three locals who reflect the spirit of the neighbourhood they live in. We open the doors to a quirky artist’s domicile in Kreuzberg; an experimental photographer’s grandiose apartment on Karl-Marx-Allee (the grand boulevard built in the Stalin era); an art collector’s luxurious penthouse in the “gay village”; or a set designer´s underground courtyard apartment full of curios. Who exactly you will meet depends on who's in town on the day of your visit. But rest assured that you will have an absolute blast as you get under the skin of the real Berlin.
Inclusions: visits to 3 private apartments, beverage & sweets, sightseeing (between the visits), transport, private guide and lots of insider tips.
